President

Fran Mixson Kunda, MD

Dr. Kunda is a native of South Carolina and was born and raised in Orangeburg, SC. She graduated from the College of Charleston and the Medical University of South Carolina and completed her Family Medicine Residency at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center

After Private Practice in Spartanburg, SC, she is currently practicing at Boiling Springs Family Medicine.

She and her husband Dean and children Josh, Ashlyn, Derek, and Ryan live in Boiling Springs, SC. Dr. Kunda enjoys going to Honduras on medical mission trips and working at St. Luke's Free Medical Clinic in Spartanburg.

Jony Bolinger, MD

A native of Gaffney, South Carolina, Dr. Bolinger is a graduate of Wofford College and the Medical University of South Carolina.

She completed her residency in Family Medicine at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. She practices with the Baptist Upstate Physicians at the Medical Center in Easley, SC. Married to fellow Wofford alumni, Steve, they have one gregarious son, Stephen.

Darron J. Molter, MD

Dr. Molter is a graduate of Rutgers University and the University of Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ). He completed his family medicine residency at UMDNJ - Robert Wood Johnson Medical School's Family Medicine Residency Program at the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, NJ. He practices with North Myrtle Beach Family Practice in North Myrtle Beach, SC. He and wife Debbie have 2 children, Katie and Brian.

Secretary/Treasurer

Ada Stewart, MD

Dr. Stewart is a graduate of Ohio Northern University where she received her pharmacy degree. After practicing pharmacy for many years she decided to attend medical school. She received her Medical Degree from the Medical College of Ohio in Toledo, Ohio. She completed her residency at the Family Medicine Program at Palmetto Health Richland in Columbia.

Dr.Stewart currently serves as one of the Chief Medical Officers for Richland Community Healthcare Association, a community health center in Columbia. She also serves as a Medical Director - Richland County, for Hospice Care of South Carolina. In addition, she serves as a Major in the United States Army Reserves.

She remains close to her family in Ohio and is proud of her two cats, Junior and Nikko.

Immediate Past President & Board Chair

Walter Connor, MD

Walter E. Connor, MD is a native of South Carolina and was born and raised in Sumter , SC. He attented the University of South Carolina for undergraduate and graduated from the 4th Class out of the University of South Carolina School of Medicine in 1984. After completing residency at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Gadsden Alabama, Dr. Connor entered private practice in Orangeburg, SC. Practacing for 10 1/2 years. He then joined the faculty at McLeod Family Medcine Residency Program in Florence, SC in January of 1998.

Dr. Connor has taught at McLeod for 10 years and serves as the Associate Director for Technology and Patient Care Services. Dr. Connor has special interests in procedural medicine and spends much of his time teaching Family Medcine Residents to do upper and lower endoscopic procedures at McLeod.

He is married to Derinda A. Connor, RN and has 2 children Ryan Connor who is a senior at the University of South Carolina and a daughter Amanda Connor who is a freshman in the nursing program at Florence-Darlington Technical College.
